I keep noticing the lights on during the day. when i point it out to people they tend to look at me with indifference, like being offered a salad when you're drunk.
finding it hard to look your television in the eye? i recommend three recent films 'music within' (2007) a true story about fighting for equal rights, an excellent soundtrack, mellow directional style and good humour. the second 'definitely maybe' (2008) an american romantic comedy, certainly not my first genre of choice, but this is a great example, heart warming and intelligent. the third 'franklyn' (2008) is a jigsaw puzzle of a movie that chops between stories and perspective to fantastic effect, very strange at first, but more than worth the perseverance. nice when a director doesn't try to ram a story down your throat i think.
