Unity Day

unity day is back once more to hyde park, Leeds, this time mid august (not permitted to say exactly when.) this was started by residents as a response to race riots and community unrest. at a time when community is being treated the wrong way, by throwing money at the problem, and not given the respect it deserves as a means to improving our future, get across to this important event and show your support. its my birthday, so after the event i will be claiming all responsablity for ANY afterparty. and of course that's a joke.

Most recent figures from the home office show that crime, significantly violent crime is down by 30% since 1970. so when you pick up a newspaper and read about people stabbing people here there and everywhere, realize it's rare. that's why its news. no merit in worrying about anything, what is going to happen, will.
and 9999 times out of 10000 you're as safe as houses.

Open Surgery

Right ok well the last two days have pretty much been me looking after good friends, after which me and my flat are destroyed and important things need doing asap. to the best of my ability market stall will happen next saturday, i hope very much, enjoy your sundays peeps. UPDATE: no transport to get my things to the open market, so it won't happen anytime in the near future, if anybody can help let me know, but it means being up at 7am saturday morning!

free climb

about to climb this in the pitch black, with a laptop, backpack and a skateboard. then figure out what to do at the top. wish me luck...23:37pm 25/6/8

my first climb. 100ft. made it to the top, then needed to climb another 15ft, then 10ft up the wall to the rampart. round the other side of fort and over two sets of fence. suppose sometimes you have to entertain yourself: 9.45am 26/6/8

developments

from my experience its better to let people know what's going on in your life, where or when you may be. sharing important life experiences benefits us all. suffering personal delusions or untruths makes a person suffer.

there are things that the world has to hear, and things that need to change.
while i am an artist, i am in a position where i don't have to sell out myself or my work. usually the things that need saying are not worth money, and what is good for the people is not good for business.

recent work has included community projects, work with disadvantaged groups and plans are in progress for funding to create music and video workshops for different ages, with the aim of inspiring individuals, creating new social groups and improving community.
